Candy-Filled Paper Valentine's Day Crafts Treats

  Imiyalezo & Iimvo

Looking for a new alternative to plain paper Valentine's Day Wooden Crafts? These cute little heart pouches are perfect for hiding some sweet treats!
  You’ll need:
Cute paper – either scrapbook paper, or make your own with DIY foam stamps
A sewing machine or needle and thread
  Little candies
Start by cutting out two hearts that are identical in shape. Place them together with the patterned sides out.
Using a sewing machine or needle and thread, stitch around the heart shape about a quarter-inch in from the edge. Leave a gap about an inch long on one of the sides like shown above.
Put the candy inside the heart, and stitch up the gap, sealing the candy inside the heart!
Trim the threads, and you’re done! You can also write a message on the heart before filling it, or glue on some lace and beads if you’d like.
To get the candy out, just tear the heart open! You can also fill these with coins, squinkies, or small jewelry for a special surprise!
Today I have a super cute and quick hair bow that is perfect for Valentine’s Day. You can use any color ribbon to match to an outfit, or use traditional pink, red, and white.
Here’s what you’ll need to make this Valentine’s Day hair bow:
  Ribbon covered hair clip
  Hot glue gun
  3 different colored ribbons
Cut each ribbon as shown, with a half-inch difference in length.
Do that with each length of ribbon so you have 3 loops.
Take your smallest loop, and place it on the table. Put a dot of glue on the tip of the loop, and lay the medium loop on top and slightly below the small loop. Do the same with the largest loop on top of the medium loop. This is how it should look on the front and the back.
Take your largest loop and put a small dot of glue in the center, then fold it in to form the top of the heart. Take the middle loop and do the same, but wrapping the center of the middle loop around the point of the heart. Do the same with the small loop, and it should look like this. You’ve made your heart!
Put a dot of glue on the tip of the heart shape, and glue it down to the open end of your lined clip.
Now run a small line of glue where the ribbons fold to form the heart shape, and attach that to the back end of the clip.
You’re done! I hope you enjoy making these adorable little hearts, and they’d be super cute clipped to Valentine cards for a gift!
